For an adult held or released by Fort Bend County, start with the Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility. Bonding can distinguish a release to the street from a transfer to TDCJ or another agency. Records accepts written requests for the booking-and-release file.

Fort Bend Court Records

A court disposition can clarify whether a charge was dismissed, sentenced, or remains open after jail custody ends. Felony cases route through the District Clerk. Misdemeanors route through the County Clerk.
